Community Cats in the Sun 12-19-21Taken on a cold December afternoon in 2021, these community cats are enjoying a bit of sun before sundown. The shelter in the background is one of six shelters around the house perimeter to take care of this clowder.
Feeding TimeWhen the kittens are still small, we feed them separately on the office floor after kitten day care. Two of the adult cats are supervising.
FeLV Cat TreeThis is the old, worn cat tree for our FeLV cats in isolation. Katy, Quasar and James normally are on the tree top to bottom; however, Pear has been demanding her share of tree space.The cat tree is the principle petting station for the cats.
How can this be comfortableWinston lays on an empty kennel during an early configuration of our office. Zebby is sleeping on the printer which has since had a custom cover built for it to keep the cats from breaking it during PLFs (parachute landing falls).
Marmalade and SmudgeAn early configuration of the cat trees behind our couch in the living room. This configuration was unsatisfactory for folks trying to watch TV while cats were leaping down from the tower.
