BirdiesThe 8" window sill in the kitchen makes a great observation post.
BirrrdiesssHere are four calico sisters bird watching the pigeons outside the eastern window in the office. Two of the sisters unfortunately died during the panleukopenia epidemic in the spring of 2023.

Growing kittens eating in the OfficeAs the kittens grow and are allowed to roam in the office, they're taken off kitten food and fed like the rest of the residents. The larger calico is Seabee and she's supervising the kittens' table manners.
Kitchen CrewThe main window in the kitchen is about 8" wide and creates the purfect spot for sun puddling and street watching. The south facing window provides sun almost all day long.
Kitten MadnessWe had two of these kitten playpens donated to the Retreat. The pens worked fairly well, but all the adult cats wanted to jump in and also roll around.
Our M&Ms boxYou have to grant it to the Mars Corporation; they make great boxes. Here three youngsters cram themselves into a box made for two.
Relaxing in Mr H's OfficeMr H's Office is used as a restricted movement area for cats who had medical restrictions or for cats who did not especially get along with others. Winston had in-out privileges but Jeremiah was limited to the office.
